This cornflower blue and dark aubergine striped fabric is a striking yet versatile cloth with a refined, artisanal feel. Woven in India from a breathable blend of 88% organic cotton and 12% linen, it combines softness with gentle structure, making it ideal for warm-weather garments.

Lightweight at 4.5oz (151gsm), this fabric is well suited to dresses, skirts, tops, and relaxed summer pieces. The 2cm wide stripe, running parallel to the selvedge, creates a flattering linear effect and works beautifully for both simple silhouettes and statement designs. Pre-washed at the mill, the fabric has a softer handle and reduced shrinkage for easy sewing.

With a generous 148cm width, it offers excellent efficiency for pattern cutting and creative projects.

Care Instructions
For the first couple of washes, place the fabric directly into the washing machine drum at 30–40°C with a handful of table salt. This helps fix the dye and reduce colour running.
