A beautifully soft double gauze in fresh grassy green and pink tones, perfect for lightweight dressmaking and comfortable everyday wear. This breathable cotton and linen blend has a gently textured finish and a soft handle, making it ideal for relaxed garments, tops, dresses, trousers, and childrenswear.

Double gauze is made from two fine open-weave layers stitched together with tiny securing stitches in a subtle grid formation. The result is a fabric with lovely softness, natural texture, and airy movement that becomes even softer with washing.

Woven in India from a quality cotton and linen blend, this cloth is lightweight yet substantial enough for versatile sewing projects. Due to the open weave and handmade nature of the fabric, occasional irregularities in the weave may occur and are considered part of its unique character.

Care Instructions
For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum with a handful of table salt to help fix the dye and reduce colour run. Wash at 30-40°C using a non-bio detergent. We recommend using a smaller stitch length when sewing double gauze fabrics, such as a stitch length of 2, for best results.
