Perfect for sewing dresses, tops, shirts and pyjamas, Evelyn Check has a soft drape while retaining enough structure for relaxed silhouettes. It is also recommended for the Bantam, Saltmarsh and Heron patterns from The Workbook.

Care Instructions

This traditional Indian handloom fabric is woven by skilled artisans and may feature subtle irregularities in the weave or pattern. These natural variations are part of the fabric's unique character and should not be considered flaws.

For the first couple of washes, add a handful of table salt to the washing machine drum to help set the dye and minimise colour run. Wash at 30-40°C with a non-biological detergent. Do not tumble dry.
